Creative Roots Classroom

Creative Roots Classroom is a storefront on Teachers Pay Teachers. It sells educational resources that combine artistic elements to create visually beautiful learning materials. The purpose of the store is to bring the natural world back into the classroom.

After five years working in mainstream public schools (K-12) in Learning Support, I saw how hard it was to access beautiful, high-quality learning resources. Budget constraints and wear/tear of having MANY MANY students use resources often meant we relied on whatever was cheapest, and quickest, even when we knew our students deserved more. When students are surrounded by materials that are thoughtfully designed and connected to the natural world, something shifts! Student curiosity deepens, they soften, and learning feels meaningful rather than mechanical. Printed worksheets and artwork are such a simple, low-cost way to bring connection to the natural world back into the classroom! They invite creativity, spark imagination, and bring fun into the classroom.
