Flower Beach is the first in a series of beach artworks inspired by moments of awe I’ve had since moving to Australia. Having grown up in places where the beach was 10 hours away, I still find it amazing that these incredible landscapes are now part of my everyday life.
This artwork was created during my third trimester of pregnancy, a time when I’m trying to encourage myself to move at a slower and reflective pace. This painting channels a calm, bright and serene state of mind, capturing the restorative and relaxed feeling of the coast.
